Short Sales approvals for Wildomar homeowners-Citibank & Chase
I recently received approvals on two short sales with Chase & CitiBank, both banks I must say were responsive. I was especially impressed with Citibank who I had not dealt with in quite a while. They approved the short sale within 60 days. Still working on addressing the second lien with USAA, which is another story for another post. When working on a short sale, it’s important to have the right resources and have the right contact in place to submit your documents to get the ball rolling. It also takes good up front detail work on your part and getting the submission properly documented in order to eliminate the back and forth request for documents and updates. One of the short sales was a Freddie Mac and it’s true they do get back to you within the timelines set forth by Freddie Mac in November 2012. Follow up is key when submitting requests, documents, completing your tasks on Equator as well as properly identifying the documents with the loan numbers following the servicer specific guidelines. Keep in mind, most lenders have their own documents and require everything be submitted using their forms.
